Responsibilities
* Process Accounts receivable, resident billing and census information
* Process paperwork associated with Resident admission on day of admission, contracts, OAS, involuntary separation etc
* Manage Resident trust accounts
* Liaise with private insurance companies for residents, as required
* Manage payments and queries concerning billing from residents and/or families
* Prepare bank deposits, and forward appropriate documentation to Accounting department
* Maintain and prepare internal reports for home as required
* Maintain office systems including IT Support and Assistance
* Process payroll for approx. 80 employees including ;
* Process Accounts payable and vendor billing inquiries
* maintain employee files and organize attendance information in preparation for payroll
* Ensure current knowledge of pay rates, conditions of collective agreements, overtime and sick pay arrangements, holiday pay etc

Will provide back up to the following
* Maintain master schedule for all departments
* Schedule/call-in nursing staff replacement according to policy and collective agreement
* Maintain and update staff schedule system
Any other duties as required

Education
* At least a 2-year college diploma in business or equivalent

Experience/Skills
* 5+ years progressive related experience
* Long-Term Care experience would be an asset
* Good Time Management
* Strong Attention to Detail
* Well Organized
* Work well without supervision
* Computer literate
* Flexible – ability to adapt to change
* Excellent Communication – listening, oral, presentation and written
* Work well in a team
