Full-Time Administrative Assistant in Burlington
Equiton is a private equity firm with offices in Burlington, Ontario. We are looking for an energetic, results-oriented team player with exceptional communication and organizational skills.
You will be responsible for managing our front reception area. The successful candidate will be detail oriented, proactive, outgoing, and should be able to work independently, multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.

Duties and Responsibilities
Establish and build constructive relationships with internal and external customers
Provide administrative assistance to the management team
Create and manage correspondence and filing systems
Assist with date entry and record keeping operations
Answer phones and operate main switchboard
Ensure all public office spaces are secure, tidy and presentable
Serve visitors by greeting, welcoming and directing to appropriate staff
Schedule and set-up meeting rooms and travel
Provide minute taking assistance
Sort and distribute incoming and outgoing mail
Coordinate external couriers, document and distribute all incoming and outgoing deliveries
Manage office supplies and equipment
Assist with off-site events
Provide assistance with photocopying, scanning, faxing, compilation of marketing materials and binding
Ensure all supplies are properly inventoried
Make bank deposits
Other office duties as required
5+ years’ experience in an office environment
Proficient knowledge with computer software programs including MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
Research and problem-solving skills, attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal oral and written communication skills
Strong client service skills
Able to multi-task and consistently meet deadlines
Team player who is comfortable working with others in a fast-paced environment
Compensation – Approx. $40k per annum to start.
